Login Issues for Russian users

Some attempts have been made to block unofficial clients that connect from Russian IPs has been put onto the ICQ servers. At times some people can connect, so it is not quite known what is going on.

Thanks to a Miranda developer (http://habrahabr.ru/blogs/im/49877/), Licq is patched in the latest SVN as of r6601. Update your SVN copies, or try and apply this patch: http://licq.org/attachment/ticket/1663/licq-ru_login_fix.patch

The latest SVN has some ABI changes, so all plugins will need to be recompiled if you haven't updated your SVN recently.

We will have to wait and see if they attempt anything else to block users. Hopefully they will realize that it is a battle that they cannot win.
